Terms and Conditions

1. General

These terms apply to all use of the BraidR platform ("Service"). By creating an account, you accept these terms. BraidR reserves the right to modify terms with 30 days' notice.

2. User accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You are responsible for all activity on your account and must keep your login information confidential.

• You may only have one account
• Information you provide must be accurate
• You must not share your account with others

3. For stylists

Stylists offering services on BraidR are independent contractors, not BraidR employees. Stylists are responsible for:

• The quality of their services
• Accurate pricing and description of services
• Hygiene and safety
• Tax obligations
• Compliance with applicable laws and regulations

4. For clients

Clients agree to:

• Show up for scheduled bookings or cancel in time
• Provide relevant information about hair type and preferences
• Treat stylists with respect
• Provide honest reviews based on actual experiences

5. Bookings

Bookings on BraidR are agreements between the client and stylist. BraidR acts as an intermediary and is not a party to the agreement.

• Booking requests expire after 24 hours without response
• Cancellation must follow the stylist's cancellation policy
• Minimum 2 hours advance notice for booking
• Maximum 60-day booking horizon

6. Payment

Payment terms depend on the payment method used. Prices are shown in the braider's selected currency, and paid bookings include BraidR's 10% platform fee.

7. Reviews

Reviews are important for trust on the platform. All reviews must be based on actual experiences. BraidR reserves the right to remove reviews that are:

• False or misleading
• Offensive or discriminatory
• Irrelevant to the service
• In violation of Norwegian law

8. Content and conduct

Users must not upload content that is illegal, offensive, discriminatory or otherwise inappropriate. BraidR reserves the right to remove content and suspend accounts that violate these rules.

9. Limitation of liability

BraidR is a marketplace platform and is not responsible for the quality of services delivered by stylists. BraidR is not liable for indirect losses, lost revenue or consequential damages.

10. Termination

You can delete your account at any time through settings. BraidR may suspend or terminate accounts that violate terms. Upon deletion, we will retain data required by Norwegian law.

11. Disputes

These terms are governed by Norwegian law. Disputes arising from use of the Service shall first be attempted resolved through dialogue. If agreement cannot be reached, the dispute may be brought before Norwegian courts with Oslo District Court as the legal venue.
